Aurpix Privacy Policy

1) Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Aurpix handles information when you use the app, including what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

2) What Aurpix does not collect in v1

No microphone access (v1)

Aurpix does not request or use microphone permission in version 1. We do not capture audio from your microphone.

3) Information Aurpix may process

A) Media access and exports

Aurpix is planned to support exporting rendered visuals as video, optionally with audio.

• Audio source: Audio included in exports comes from sources you provide or select (e.g., chosen audio track). Aurpix does not record your microphone.
• Storage: Exported files are saved locally on your device.
• No automatic upload: Aurpix does not upload your exports unless you explicitly use a cloud feature.

B) Accounts (paid tiers)

If you use a paid tier that includes accounts/cloud, Aurpix may collect account identifiers (e.g., email) and metadata to manage your subscription.

C) Cloud storage (paid tiers)

If enabled, Aurpix may store presets, scenes, and app settings in the cloud. You control what is synced. If cloud sync is not enabled, your data remains local.

D) Purchase information

Payments are processed by Google Play Billing. We receive entitlement status (e.g., "Pro") but do not receive your full payment card information.

E) Diagnostics & F) Analytics

To improve stability and the product, we may collect anonymous crash stack traces and basic feature usage events. We do not use analytics to identify you personally.

G) Permissions

Aurpix may request Photos/Media/Files access to save exports, and Notifications for process completion messages.

4) How we use information

We use information to provide app functionality (rendering, exporting), save your scenes, enable paid services, and improve stability.

5) Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with service providers (Google Play, Analytics/Crash providers) only as needed to operate the app.

6) Data retention

Local data remains on your device until deleted. Account data is retained while active. Diagnostic data is retained only as long as necessary for troubleshooting.

7) & 8) Security & Children

We use reasonable technical measures to protect data. Aurpix is not intended for children under 13.
